Mantis Kevin Thoma Zürich Kevin Thoma aka Mantis was born in Switzerland in 1992 and grew up in Uster, Canton Zurich. In the summer of 2009 he accidentally stumbled onto his very first psy trance party. He was then at the young age of seventeen and instantly fell in love with all of it; he really liked the great music, the kind-hearted and open-minded people and last but not least the great decorations. He admired the live acts of the DJs and the whole organization of these parties, so at the age of 18 he decided to organize his own parties together with his brother and his best friend called "Purple Moon Light" today "Vive Noctem" His love for mixing grew stronger, as did his skills. He started out with progressive trance sets, but soon it became too slow and he upped the ante, switching genres to psychedelic, forest and goa trance. In 2011 he was able to prove his skills on the turntables. The very first time in front of an audience that welcomed him very well. This later gave him the opportunity to play performances of a national and international nature. To name the most important: Organic Festival in Polska, Chilling Monday in Thailand, Moon Mountain Valantrance in Thailand, Fabel Festival in Germany, Magic Mountain in Thailand, Ligor Spirit Festival in Thailand, S.U.N. Festival in Hungary and the Belantara in Malaysia. Today he has been a passionate DJ for over 10 years.
