Collide by Magnetic Memory published on 2014-05-28T03:16:47Z From a humble beginning in an attic room apartment, Magnetic Memory was spawned from the home recordings of singer/songwriter Phil Davis. A native of Oregon, he moved to Springfield, MO where he began crafting songs about transitions and changing times. After releasing a self-produced EP, he met bass player Adam Wright through Craigslist and the band Magnetic Memory was officially formed. Shortly afterward Tim Moodie joined on drums and Jarrod McCleod on guitar. Practicing out of their basement jam space they refined a forty-five minute original set and began booking shows throughout the region. After two years and plenty of road miles behind them they collaborated with producer Lou Whitney to produce the bands first EP. Special thanks to Tony Deluca, Cody Lane, Jonathan James, Dustin Williams, and all our wives.
