Magnesium works and lives in Paris.
After approximatly 10 years mixing in famous nightclubs, he creates his first musical, where through samples, mixes, and real sounds he associates poetical scenes to contemporary dance : Le songe de l'arbre vert, Lyon 1998.
He composed soundtracks for documentary films: Un rêve en trois dimensions, Paris-Holywood-Paris, Siri, Une aventure holywoodienne, Bernard Pras, Vent d'âme, Histoire d'un tournage, Les nouveaux chefs...) and also composes soundtraks for several short TV programs: A quoi pensez vous, Roland Garros 2008, Si j'étais président,...
In 2005 and 2009 he directors two short films: L'armoire and Rendez-vous.
He collaborates in various artistic projects, as: 60 secondes, a project consisting of 365 movies of urban poetry, one film a day, in collaboration with the sound sculptor Vincent Brédif (Arte, Printemps des poètes, Paris, Cube, Issy-les-Moulineaux, London's festival « Ten sec film », ...)
In 2009, he writes a new musical play: L’étrange histoire du petit homme, a rock tale about a young boy incapable to grow up. Many artists are participating in this artistical project: Karen Willems, the vibrating and drumming girl .LO, the strolling voice and the drawing hand; Jeremie Whistler, Electro/Guitar/Voice, and many others to come and Ninon, voice.
Magnesium's music is about an electro rythm blending sounds experimentations, natural sound, analogical sound and improvisations. It orientates toward a poetry of sounds with one goal: to tell short stories.
