Lyubomir Yordanov Music composer for film, TV, score, custom music production & sound des Lyubomir Yordanov is a Bulgarian born music producer and composer who writes for film, TV, score, documentaries, trailers, custom music production & sound design. His music blends traditional cinematic orchestration with cutting edge, modern production techniques, chill-out/new age textures and ethnic/world influences. He started his musical journey back in 2000, after years of studying music, exploring ethnic cultures and drawing inspiration from his many journeys. He has been working on various solo projects under the pseudonym 'Sleepwalker' and has released a series of albums, including one mastered by the Grammy Award winning engineer Bob Katz (www.digido.com). During his time in the USA he met Tommy Lee - performer, musician and hand-craftsman of Native American style wooden flutes. After this meeting Tommy later crafted custom flutes for Lyubomir, which became his faithful companion in his musical journey. The affinity with ethnic/world music and native folklore has led him to collaborate with a variety of musicians and artists. Despite working as a composer, music for media/film remains his greatest passion. In 2011 he scored the music for the documentary "Beyond the lake" (Directed by Rabie Rahou and written by Mohamed Bouregaa) - The cinematic music creates an intense and driving feel by mixing modern orchestral elements, ethnic and classical instruments, enchanting vocals and world percussion. It combines in an elegantly mellow way; blending exotic and alluring themes; creating romantic, atmospheric and mysterious melodies; and using ethnic, cultural and root instruments in one common sound picture. Alongside his music production, he specializes as a sound engineer and runs the AMA Sound studio - (www.ama-sound.com), where he offers mixing and mastering audio tuition to other musicians.
