Lyrik Omaggio Music

Lyrik Omaggio's love for music came naturally being born to a family of music lovers. He was introduced to R&B greats at an early age by his family. With the sounds of Teddy Pendergrass, Chaka Khan, Al Green, Aretha Franklin, and Markin Gaye resonating thoughout his household, Lyrik developed a passion for not just how music sounds but how it made him feel. R&B has always been at the heart of Lyriks music and he has strived to sound as great as John Legend with the passion of Mary J. Blige. Being introduced to Pop music changed Lyriks perspective on the story behind the music that artists create. Lyrik was inspired by the writing and passion in John Mayer's music coupled with the raspy and grounded sound of James Morrison. Notably with the inspiration from the many artists whose music fueled his dream to become a recording artist, Lyrik sought to infuse the R&B and Pop sounds into his music.

With the pending release of his very first single, "Chameleon", scheduled to be available Sept 21, 2018 on all major platforms, Lyrik is sharing his story with the world. Following the streams of heartbreak and the countless times that love has taken pieces of him leaving him with a loss of self identity, Lyrik has poured these moments into his new song. Filled with the vulnerability that love can change how you see yourself, Chameleon tells the personal story of how Lyrik was once not able to see himself looking in the mirror. The song speaks volumes about Lyrik's journey in music and the obstacles that he overcame to chase his dreams.

Once ready to give up on his dream to be a world renowd singer and songwriter, Lyrik has hit the ground running with a renewed energy and purpose. With his mantra, "My music is my tribute" which pays homage to the way patrons worshipped the greek gods. Lyrik is tributing his music to all that support it.
