Lunarsoul Jens Hoffmann Heidelberg Lunarsoul …is the „one-man-band“ of the songwriter, musician & singer Jens Hoffmann. He started making music at the age of 9 by learning to play the guitar all by himself. During the following years he made big progress and learned to play a bunch of instruments (e.g.the piano, drums, bass…). In his teens he founded the band „Jayahdeva“ which achieved regional success. After the band split up in 2007 he started a solo career and released two singles: – Sweet Honey Bee (Shine On) / Lovesong – A Friend Has Gone In the meantime he recorded his first studio album all by himself. It took him several years to finish the recordings and mixing process. In the meantime he invented an „alter ego“ he called „Lunarsoul“ and fell in love with that name so that he finally decided to keep it.
