Immersed in music since his childhood, Luiz Fernando Ribeiro, aka LuizFribs, adds the violin on the construction of fully authorial performances that shows his deepest feelings through introspective melodies and syncopated rhythms, characteristics of the melodic, obscure and acid Techno he produces. Having released in labels such as Reload (ESP), Nin92wo (BRA), Guava (UKR) and Austro (BRA), the Brazilian artist’s sound invites the listener to join him on sensations that cannot be described only through words.
His trajectory in classical music commenced yet on his childhood, when with only four years old, he started his studies of violin. At the age of twelve, Luiz was consecrated the youngest student to graduate Musical Theory course on Basileu França School of Arts conservatory, in Goiania, Brazil. From 2010 to 2013 he was first violinist at Orquestra Sinfonica Jovem de Goiás (Goiás’ Youth Symphonic Orchestra). The artist gave his first steps on electronic music when a teenager, creating in 2011 the duo Violink and performing on local clubs and parties. As an evolution of his work, Luiz became more and more interested about music production and the underground scene, and, in 2017, he released his first EP “Symptom” on Brazilian label Austro (electronic music arm of the great record company Som Livre). In 2018, he remixed “Eu Não Vou” from the runner-up of The X-Factor Brazil, Jenni Mosello.
In 2018, LuizFribs was considered by the electronic music specialized website Play BPM one of the new highlights of the Brazilian Midwest Techno scene. Counting at the moment with 17 releases (EPs, singles and remixes), the artist is always working on new authorial stuff and improving his live performance, consequently promising a promissory future as his career has been until now.
