Luca Giugno italian jazz musician, explores his life journey through the music.
His career took place during a 25 year period that carried the artist towards many important musical collaborations: Alberto Fortis, Anna Oxa, Nek, Simona Bencini, Ronnie Jones, Renato Zero, Giorgia, Baccini, I Nomadi and many more.
He collaborated with musicians of great importance as Fabrizio Bernasconi, Enzo Lo Greco, Gianni Lo Greco, Marco Brioschi, Giorgio Di Tullio, Diego Corradin, Cesare Chiodo, Gogo Ghidelli, Giulia Fasolino, Silvano Borzacchiello, Giulio Granati, Massimo Scoca, Riccardo Fioravanti, Antonio Onorato, Pietro Nobile, Stefano De Maco, Bebo Ferra, Wesley, Ronnie Jones, Garrison Fewell, Mary Birch, Dave Richards (co-producer of the Queen).
He participated in some Italian tour: with Giorgia (tour “Thelma e Louise”), with Filippo Trojani (Renato Zero tour “Cattura il sogno 2004”), with Alberto Fortis (tour “Fiori sullo schermo futuro live 2005-2010), with Rossana Casale, Massimo Di Cataldo, Marco Ferradini. He was with Nek in the program “Miss Svizzera 2005” and with Paolo Belli in the program “Gran Galà della pubblicità 2005 – Italia 1”.
He teaches modern jazz guitar at “Accademia Ticinese di Musica Moderna”, Locarno, Switzerland and at “Jardin Musicale”, Lugano, Switzerland. It is also involved in seminars and workshops on improvisation technique “Chords over chords” by Garrison Fewell.
He was artistic director of an important Italian jazz festival, which was attended by famous national and international names of jazz as Gegé Telesforo, Eddie Gomez, Tuck and Patti, Rodney Holmes and many others.
He participated as a vocalist to the Anna Oxa tour “Le voci dell’anima” and to the opera “Adiemus” by Karl Jenkins.
With the Omnia Orchesta accompanies in the 25th anniversary of Radio Italia artists like: Andrea Bocelli, Renato Zero, Claudio Baglioni, Ron, Edoardo Bennato, Gianni Morandi, Mango, Michele Zarrillo, Gli Stadio, Umberto Tozzi, Raf, Le Vibrazioni, Alex Britti, Luca Carboni, Enrico Ruggeri, I Nomadi.
With the band “I Nomadi” he recorded in 2007 the double live CD and DVD “Nomadi & Omnia Simphony Orchestra”. Other recording “Dal Gregoriano ai Beatles”, “Mary Birch Suite”, “I Nomadi 2007”, “Filippo Trojani”. In the year 2015 his first personal CD “Incontri”.
