L'Resorts

L'Resorts is a pop band from Milwaukee, Wi.

The self-titled debut album released July 19, 2019.

Second album is set to release in spring of 2020.

Primarily known for indie rock band Jaill (Sub Pop, Burger Records, Infinity Cat), Vincent Kircher teamed up with Martha Cannon from Milwaukee americana band, Lady Cannon, to form L’Resorts. What began as a one-time collaboration evolved into a seven-piece group including original Jaill drummer, Austin Dutmer, and several other regulars from the Milwaukee music scene.

The breezy, confidently arranged tunes evoke the mood and vibe of an era while deftly avoiding any single pigeonhole, akin to what The Cars might have sounded like if they were in San Francisco in 1968. The combination of the record's essentials-- marimba riffs, mellotron, and supremely catchy vocal melodies-- sound fresh and unlike anything else right now.

With songs that are uplifting in their sadness, this album was made to be a friend.
