We’ve unearthed two gems from a pair of accomplished Glaswegian producers for our second release. Love & Other are very proud to present… Illyus & Barrientos with their new ‘Ballin’ EP.

An unlikely pair, Illyus, originally a hip-hop DJ famed for his turntablism, and Barrientos, a classical music enthusiast; the duo’s paths were fated to cross. Individually the producers have already achieved far beyond many, with support from music nobility including: Giles Peterson, Groove Armada, John Digweed and Sasha.

Support for their first and only thus-far collaboration EP on fast becoming iconic Glasgow Underground label have included Pete Tong, Skream, Gorgon City, Amine Edge, Kry Wolf and loads more. We follow up with ‘Ballin’ and ‘Someone Else’ - truly spectacular, hedonistic, bass driven house with more than a touch of class.
