Initiating with mellow piano pad layers made from the Johnny Alf sample, "Ama Melmac" takes the listener on a journey through moody piano-chop sounds paired with airy floating guitar fragments opening the world into a laid-back lo-fi beat. Breaking up the classical drum beat with an 808 bass break backed by progressive percussion hits bestow the record-sampled soundscape to unfold its warmth completing the sleepy reverb-effected piano fades. Dresden (GER) based producer Meks Sample started making music in 2009. Raised with Jazz, Funk, Soul, Prog-Rock & Psychadelic Rock he started digging vinyl to rock the samples he found. Learning to appreciate the joy of analog gear he started beat making on an MPC1000. Combining analog gear with digital sound design brought him to the next level and made him to make his first steps in the German Hip-Hop Beat scene.
