Local Radio is a live project using FM transmitters and recycled radios to create site-specific performances in which the radios become an experimental PA system or a rather unpredictable polyphonic instrument.
Since 2008 Local Radio has been staged as a pop-up installation and performance in spaces in Cambridge and Norwich including Kettle's Yard, Aid & Abet and STEW Gallery. It has also formed part of longer audiovisual installation projects 'Self Assembly' at Aid & Abet, Cambridge (2011) and 'sole possession' at the Frontroom, Cambridge (2013).
