I'm looking to began working with new producers, lets share ideas. I respect your hustle, but i'm not interested in empty sales pitches you've told 100 other rappers. I'm an artist and believe in the essential basis of any craft and thats authenticity, realism.
My only gain is that eye gave back love and someone could relate. Much Respect !

Travon D. Bryant, From Los Angeles, Ca born in the great golden era. The turning point of so many music backgrounds not just hip hop/rap. Music has always been a great part of my life since forever. My mother was a poet, my dad (later found out) made an attempt at rapping, but enjoyed writing skits and short ongoing series. It explains why i later developed a passion for weaving well thought out stories, abstract lyricism, and just lines for the people to get lost in. The beauty about being so young and heavily influenced by music left me with no real taste, bias opinion or judgement. Alot of my beginning influences came directly from my mother, Mary J. Blidge, SWV, Ice Cube, MC Eiht, DMX, Tupac, Spice 1, and.... Yeah just a great blend of both coast from Soul / Hip Hop / R&B grounds. Later i would discover my more depth side listening to alot of John Coltrane, Wes Montgomery, Alice Coltrane, Manu Chao, Modest Mouse, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Black Sabbath, The Beatles, David Bowie, Thelonious Monk, Sun Ra, and the list goes. During this time i really developed a deeper understanding of rhythm, perspective, lyrics both surface and in between the lines. It all helped me grow into the artist I am today. I'm definitely not your bar for bar artist, listening to alot of different musical backgrounds and motions has allowed me to sort of swim with the production so nothing ever delivers the same. The beauty of writing is just being able to really digest everything you've been directly and indirectly effected by. Then being able to package it in a condense style everyone can relate too, while still upholding the full depth and truth of said writing. Repetition has lead me on a great path of perfecting this which i pride so much because at the end of the day all i have is My Word. I've had 2 previous artist name, currently transitioning from Blac Negus to LocalBlac. I felt the change to LocalBlac was a necessary move in order to expand my audience. LocalBlac just speaks as something or someone who has grown locally but has obtained power/depth (blac) from its surroundings and was not defeated by the darkness but manifested light from the dark. And thats where you get LocalBlac anything and anyone can represent LocalBlac and once my audience understands my definition its going to have an even greater impact on how the music i create is interpreted and understood in the long run. Life is constantly changing so there's always something i'm going to forget to include, but its life, its what we make of it, and I'm an open book. Much Respect, Peace and One
A Blues man once said. "The sad truth about Artist, is that we're here to make you feel good through our dark times." He was neither wise or witty, just a human. He said that to say, "Often enough the man at the podium, is the true seeker of help."
