Songwriter's notes: "Hector and I put this demo together pretty quickly back in 2002. I had been playing with this G-G6-G7 suspension and liked how long I could play it before resolving, and the idea of 'Anticipating' was born. In this original demo, Hector had the idea to produce it with a rock production, with double time tempo and a fast moving bass line. I put on some scratch vocals and we had a fun sounding track.
