LisaMichelle

Lisa Michelle is an R&B/Soul singer, songwriter & actor in Toronto. Her sound is soulful and warm upon introduction, seasoned with fire when she hits the stage for live performances with her band “Thank The Academy”.

In 2011, she simultaneously released "Love Lessons"; a jazzy Neo-soul album and "Rebound”; a 4-track EP with a bolder, hotter R&B sound.

When she's not recording or performing her original works, she's taking the stage and screen as an actor and musical theatre performer. In 2012 she had the honour of being in the Dora-nominated acapella musical "Obeah Opera" as well as taking a principal role in a charismatic production of "Godspell" at Victoria Playhouse. Having received favourable press, "Godspell" is being remounted to the stage in the Fall of 2013 by Drayton Entertainment as a U.S. National Tour.

Lisa Michelle's third studio album entitled "This Moment" is another sexy, sweet R&B album, but with hip hop vibes and a touch of jazz. This latest project was executive produced by Juno-Nominated artist and producer Solitair, and released November 2012.
