It is always a question wether to start some band’s biography with the work they’ve done within the exact circle of people band is counting in the present, or though to start a story about the idea of the band itself. Continuing in that manner, could we speak about the band without their begginings, without the roots they grew from? The idea of starting to play in a friend’s garage, or to make a first gig for just a couple of bears as a refund? Isn’t that all a part of one band’s growing into a serious commitment to the idea of making music and performing for nothing else but the music? Or could we say that simultaneously while growing up as personas’, their music (and commitment) grew up with them? This way or another, a beggining of one band is to be put as a beggining of their first try. So, we could say that Line Out, as idea of the band, has begun to exist all the way back in the 90’s. A group of friends merged together around the passion they all felt for playing. That’s how it started. Somewhere around ten years later, they formed a structure of people that worked together on their first album called „Masterpiece“, published in the summer of 2009, even though they were making gigs and concerts since the year 2007. It was two guitars, one bass guitar, drumms, saxophone, trumpet and vocal that Line Out was counting by that time. Including video production they had in every performance, a whole idea of their every concert was a multiple experience they wanted to give to the audience. Not much longer after the first album, the crew has changed. Now the band was counting six members, no saxophone and trumpet, but a midi keyboard controler instead. Two years afterwards, in December 2011, their second album named „Cynicism“ made the final point in their work until nowadays. On that album they made cooperation with not only producers from Serbia (Aleksandar Vaci and Aleksandar Buzadzic) but with two producers from Croatia. Publishing also remixes of their songs Line Out is trying, as always, to reach out to greater number of people that share the same sensibility for life and music.
That is the way they’ve been preeching through music, sharing their unique experience of combining energetic rythm, guitars full of distorsion, but again lyrics and vocals that are fragile and tough in the same time. All in all, they are sharing their eclectic experience through the eclectic combination of sounds, genres and emotions made through the whole history of music.
