She spoke with three Egyptian activists participating in the 18-day protests in Tahrir Square: journalist, blogger and labor organizer Hossam el-Hamalawy on January 26, 2011; blogger Wael Khalil on February 2, 2011; and human rights lawyer and sociologist Atef Said from near the Presidential Palace in Cairo after Hosni Mubarak stepped down on February 11, 2011.
