Lilith’s philosophical approach to music is as refreshing as it is intriguing. Her personal life view and mindset powerfully impact Lilith’s music, as she draws inspiration from the universe and its many wonders, using creation as means to expressing meaningful messages and states of mind.
Lilith rose from the heart of the Dutch music scene, holding-down a two year residency at Amsterdam’s legendary Studio 80. Her journey expanded as she began having gigs all around the world, from Ushuaia Ibiza to Watergate, Stereo Montreal to We Are FSTVL, Club Midi to Mysteryland, gaining new insights and connections on which her inspiration strives.
Her music reflects Lilith’s deep love for nature and numbers – the tracks have warm, natural elements and are carefully composed as to resonate with certain frequencies and immerse the listener completely, with its eclectic fusion of organic and experimental sounds, along with a distinct dubby groove. Each production has a beautiful story behind and a purpose which goes beyond just entertainment, offering the right moods and mindsets for deeper self-discovery and self-expression.
Lilith had successful releases on labels like Baile Musik, Art of Dark, NoVus, before deciding to take the next step in her career and create her own vinyl imprint, ’44 CNCPT’. Embodying her philosophical take on music, love for vinyl and preference for meaningful, substantial production, Lilith’s ’44 CNCPT’ will host her debut album, ‘Plan-ET’. The four parts will be released each season, as this autumn has seen the launch of the first tune, ‘Hokkori Shiyo’, along with a remix from Mihigh. Each track will feature a reconstruction from some of her closest fellow producers, David Gtronic, Roger Gerreseen and Groovesh. Also to be expected are a couple of Vinyl Remixes for Jerome.C which will be released on her good friend’s label “Abartik" and another vinyl only remix for her Swiss friends Dietrich & Strolch. which will be released on their own label, Neustadtmusik.
Her label, 44 CNCPT, is a platform for musicians who are different in expression but unified in consciousness and ideology, believing in the power of music to bring people together, and striving to make the listener more in touch with themselves, as to discover the powerful unity which keeps everything together and the importance of it in today’s world. Extending this philosophy into real life, the label will soon feature a digital collection of 11 tracks, from artists like TC Studio, RQZ & Paul K, Amped, VSA, Dubsons, Kiwa, Ryes Davis, D.A.T.M, Melle J, Incolor & David Gtronic.
The highly conceptual layer of Lilith’s creation turns her music into something unique, as intriguing as it is refreshing, and her stories are thought provoking and filled with a contagious positivity which can be felt whenever she takes over the decks. It’s exciting to see the next parts of her first LP unfolding, as Lilith’s creativity and love for co-creation always give birth to impressive, artfully crafted music.
