Over the last 26 years of his musical journey, Fher Rivera (Lessnoise) has been involved in multiple diverse projects. He owned his first guitar at the age of 10, moved on to play bass guitar with a local rock band when he was 13, and joined a new age orchestra at 15.
In 1998, at the age of 18, he traded in his drum kit and guitars for his first pair of turntables and turned to the electronic music scene. Soon after finding his true passion, he landed his first residency at a local nightclub and later headlined important events in Central and North America, including his own radio show in New York City, Downshift Radio. Broadcasting worldwide, Downshift gained thousands of listeners around the globe as well as the respect from the likes of Paul Van Dyk, Dave Seaman, Chris Fortier, Infected Mushroom, and James Zabiela.
For the past 18 years, Lessnoise’s personal and collaborative performances have shined with an intensity that has left partygoers longing for more. Stimulating all the senses and inspiring an atmosphere of cosmic energy, his music and his vibe have set the mood at many events. He has shared the stage with various projects and DJs like Steve Lawler, Richard Devine, Satoshi Tomiie, Christopher Lawrence, Nick Warren, Ralph Falcon (MURK), Medway, Scott Hardkiss, Infusion, Anthony Pappa, Rebolledo, Steve Porter, and many more.
Lessnoise has released multiple records, remixes, and compilations on Baroque Records, Babylon Records, Workout, Revolt Records, White Label Recordings, Pure Perception and Dashing Records. With a brand new album on the way with remixes by Pole Folder and Jay Tripwire and a current residency at DJ Pierre's label Afro Acid, he has a full agenda for 2016 - including a performance at Roland Presents: The Legends at Miami WMC featuring DJ Pierre, Doc Martin, Junior Sanchez, and Tommie Sunshine.
