Leonie Prater Leonie Prater Marshwood Leonie Prater is a 25 year old Singer – Songwriter based in Marshwood, Dorset (UK). She was born in Dorchester (UK) and raised in St.Gallen (CH). In Switzerland she played several festicals such as Chraen Openair, Vorstadt Sounds Zurich, JungKult St.Gallen and her biggest success Openair St.Gallen where she played on the same Line – Up as The Killers, Chvrches and Depech Mode. In 2020 she released her first singles ‘The cracking sound of stone’, ‘Metamorphosis’ and ‘The River’, which will also be part on her first ever released album Metamorphosis. In December 2020 she collaborated with Manuel Gasser (CH) and produced another version of her previous single The River. Metamorphosis will be released in 2021 both online and on Vinyl. Metamorphosis is her first big project and includes songs both based on personal stories or everyday situations. It is a very personal piece of art which tells stories about ‘change’, ‘finding a home’ or ‘suicide and depression’.
