Lena Yellow Lena Yellow Prague LENA YELLOW Lena Yellow is a soul singer working in collaboration with composer and pianist Tomas Sykora. Their debut album Positivity (released in November 2014) is literally brimming with positive energy. The music on this album reflects a wide range of musical influences including afro-american soul, pop and jazz. Most of the tunes are their original compositions except for two originally arranged songs by their musical idols Incognito and Carole King. A number of great and experienced musicians co-operated in the making of this project. International collaborators include vocalists from the Boston Berklee College of Music and Australia. The album was recorded at Biotech Studio under the guidance of a great sound engineer - Ecson Waldes. The first single Fever was among the semifinalists of the international contest Unsigned Only 2014. After releasing their debut album the band went on the "Positivity Tour" which ended with a high profile gig supporting world renown acid-jazz band Incognito at Lucerna Music Bar in Prague. Autumn 2016 sees the release of the two new singles from Lena Yellow. And the band will continue touring Europe in 2017.
