Boom Boom Bean Selecta is the DJ'ing Cat alter-ego of Leonie Rhodes, an established, and award winning, multidisciplinary artist and facilitator. Bean Selecta is a stingy cat so you can find more mixes where its free to post on mixcloud. Primarily an Installation and sculpture practitioner, Leonie was lucky enough to grow up in South East London revelling in the later part of the Jungle Movement and witnessing the conception and birth of Dubstep. Leonie has been raving since the age of 12 in the London and Cambridge scenes, they play across Hip-hop, Breaks, Electronica, House and Techno, with particular passion for Drum and Bass, Ska, Reggae and Future beats. Bean Selecta specializes in high quality 100 percent wav, deep, hypnotic and seamless sets of techy, minimal, bass heavy drum and bass and jungle music. Leonie recently suppoted Royalston in Brisbane and has dj'd at gigs and festivals inter-state and internationally. This cat is particularly skilled at cross- genre bespoke sets purring vibes into space through sound and often combines sound with visual arts and events.
