Lea Fetterman

Lea Fetterman is currently studying for her Masters in Music in Violin Performance at the University of Victoria, BC. She studies the violin with Ann Elliott-Goldschmid, first violinist of the Lafayette String Quartet. Ms. Fetterman graduated from Western Washington University with a Bachelor of Music in Music Education in December, 2017, Magna Cum Laude. She joined the Sammamish Symphony Orchestra as Concertmaster to finish their 2018-19 season, and sat Associate Concertmaster for the Seattle Philharmonic Orchestra from 2017-19. She coached sectionals for the Bellevue Youth Orchestras, and at many schools the Seattle and Bellevue districts for the 2018-19 season. Ms. Fetterman spent the summers of 2016-19 attending the prestigious Round Top Festival Institute in Round Top, Texas, playing with the festival orchestra, in her own chamber groups, and coaching and conducting several other ensembles. She recently finished her fourth year as Head Facilities Coordinator for Marrowstone Music Festival, which takes place at Western Washington University.
