Laura Jackman SAG/AFTRA Vocalist Los Angeles Laura Jackman is a versatile session singer, performer, and vocalist located in Los Angeles, CA, and has been singing in a professional context since the age of 9. With her uniquely rich and dark tone, Laura’s strong alto sound is versatile as a professional singer, both live and in the studio. She loves nothing more than to be apart of a beautiful harmonious blend, and to bring passion and life to both new and old music. Laura has had the immense pleasure of singing for composers she has grown up idolizing, such as Danny Elfman, Michael Giacchino, John Williams, John Debney, and Randy Newman. Laura also has extensive experience on the administrative side of the music industry, with experience working for union vocal contractors, as well as prestigious and iconic landmarks of the music business, like The Hollywood Bowl and Universal Pictures. Laura studied at Bard College in New York for her Bachelors Degree, as well as Santa Monica College as a Jazz Vocalist at their exclusive Applied Program. She now continues her musical career as a soloist. She currently sings Alto II within the prestigious Los Robles Master Chorale, the professional group, LA Choral Lab, as well as sings lead in a country-swing band, The High Lonesome Drifters.
