I have been making electronic sounds since 1997 and before that I was a founder member of the Karmatosed Sound System that ran a legendary night called Decompression around Hertfordshire and London in the 1990’s. I played out mostly techno but also Jungle / D&B, breaks and chill out stuff. I started making beats with a best mate on a knackered Atari, cubase v1.5 and some basic hardware and we released one techno / breakbeat 12’ as Aengen which got airplay from Carl Cox and Laurent Garnier amongst others. This was probably my 15 minutes of fame and we did a number of live sets at the time in and around London which was great fun. I then did my own thing, again with the knackered Atari, budget Akai 950 sampler and a few guitar effects, releasing a few CD’s through local record shops in Leeds.

In the last 20 years kids and work have got in the way as they do, and I have moved to using a dodgy laptop and ableton Live to fiddle about here and there as well as doing DJ’ing at parties in and around Leeds.

I don't exclusively DJ any particular genre and I don't care much about labels. I play whatever interests me musically which I think comes across with the selection of mixes on my profile.

My main influences are really too many to mention but I would like to pay respect to Fad Gadget, Ritchie Hawtin, Aphex Twin, James Murphy, King Tubby, DJ Hype, Roots Manoeuvre and all of you that are currently following me.
