Lachesis - SymphonicMetal Bergamo Lachesis is a symphonic metal band from Bergamo, Italy. The band was formed in March 2012 by Sara (drums), Daniela (keyboard), Anna (vocal), Lollo (bass) and Nitro (guitar). The name “Lachesis” derives from the greek Moira, who measured the thread of life allotted to each person with her measuring rod. At the beginning Lachesis was mainly a cover band, which played songs by Nightwish and Epica. When a new keyboarder and composer (Marco) arrived, the band started writing its own songs. In February, 2013, Lachesis decided to record their first demo with 3 songs: "Gioca con me", "White Embrace" and "Lachesi". In June, 2013, their first live performance in a local pub took place. At the beginning of 2014 the band took part in two contests, reaching the semi-final both times. In 2014 Lachesis started recording their first single, “Nel vento”, which includes 3 songs (you can listen to it on this social network). In August 2014 Lollo decided to leave the band. The single was released in September 2014. During this period a new bass player, Luca, entered the band. Lachesis started a new season of live performances and took part in two music contests (“Rock it Out”, in Brescia and “The Rocker Contest”, in Bergamo). In February 2015 the band was invited as a guest in the radio programme “Music Party”, on a local radio called “Radio Cernusco Stereo”. The band had the opportunity to broadcast some of its songs. After that, Lachesis took part in other two music contests in Bergamo, “Contestaecuore” and “Anime Fuori”, reaching the second place in the latter, which allowed them to perform in the district prison of the city next December. Today the band performs 15 songs and it’s preparing itself for some concerts during autumn and winter.
