Five Stages by Louis Glazzard published on 2022-08-18T13:36:01Z Five Stages is a poetic audio journey through the Kübler-Ross model of grief, capturing stories of loss. In the past few years, Louis Glazzard experienced the sudden loss of his mother due to metastatic breast cancer and the loss of his Grandmother due to Covid-19 - both pictured in the lead image of Five Stages. During these times, Louis wrote poetry as a form of therapeutic recovery. Five Stages attempts to capture both Louis’ personal perspective and story surrounding loss and collective feelings of grief experienced throughout the Covid-19 pandemic. The poetic journey offers a new way to think about loss. Written and performed by Louis Glazzard with thanks to Amanda Wilkin, Ed Kear, Therese Bwitanda, Joseph Ayre and Stacey Ghent. It was a Naked Production commissioned for Tyneside Cinema, part of New Creatives which is co-funded by BBC Arts and Arts Council England. It was played on BBC Radio 6 Introducing Arts and broadcast on BBC Sounds in May 2022. Genre Storytelling Comment by Lynncrandallwriter Beautiful 2023-01-04T16:12:42Z
