Occupy Radio - June 26, 2013 by KWVA published on 2013-06-28T16:20:41Z The global balance of power between the ruling minority and the vast mass of the majority appears to be shifting. Spontaneous uprisings like the Gezi Square uprising in Istanbul, and the Vinegar Uprising in Brazil are becoming more common. At the same time, sustained resistance campaigns like the Tea Party, Los Indignados, Occupy, and the Tar Sands Resistors, to name a few, are rising up to confront an increase in global repression and corporate rule. This week on Occupy Radio, we talk with two more members of Jill Stein's Green Shadow Cabinet. David Swanson, the Secretary of Peace, and Kevin Zeese, the Attorney General for the Green Shadow Cabinet, join Getch to discuss the changing climate for activism, as well as their visions for a different government in the United States.
