Another Air for ensemble Kompopolex and 20 fans(ventilators), 2017 by Kuba Krzewinski published on 2017-08-20T13:09:34Z In this piece I try to touch the audience in a literal way - not only with sounds of instruments hidden-under-dense-tape, but also with 20 fans (ventilators). As the piece evolves the fans become more and more present, creating a perception-tickling balance of aerial sound qualities with real air. By this piece I also relate to a whole genre of XX-c. new music pieces focusing on “air”, including compositions by Lachenman, Berio, Takemitsu, Holliger. The tape is constructed with convoluted and granulated recordings of aforementioned pieces with actual wind recordings or/and recordings of instruments and human body. Genre Classical
