ksrhoads k.s. Rhoads "We work ourselves wretched for one old wood coffin, if life doesn't get you, love will finish you off" sings K.S. Rhoads on his stunning debut album Dead Language, which American Songwriter Magazine declares, " is an exhibition in style, grace, and limitless possibilities." His music has been called "... a masterful marriage of indie-pop, orchestral, and american folk." His lush string arrangements recall Danny Elfman, and his lyrics recall F. Scott Fitzgerald. His live performances are rapturous and sporadic, usually with a string and vocal section. in lieu of a band, he creates live sound on sound, layering multiple instruments and voices, by way of looping pedals. He produces, scores, and writes for many other artists as well. In September, 2011, he performed with the Nashville Symphony Orchestra, for which he scored, composed and arranged all of the music. He performed with TED talks at TEDx Nashville in Spring, 2012. His new album The Wilderness will be released on March 5, 2013. ksrhoads’s tracks I Love Rock N' Roll by ksrhoads published on 2016/02/04 15:10:10 +0000 The American Dream by ksrhoads published on 2016/01/29 16:56:58 +0000 Bello by ksrhoads published on 2016/01/14 16:38:41 +0000 Sugar My Shack by ksrhoads published on 2016/01/05 19:53:10 +0000 Bury Me In Paris by ksrhoads published on 2015/11/18 23:24:06 +0000 North Star by ksrhoads published on 2013/11/21 16:49:40 +0000 If You Want Love by ksrhoads published on 2013/02/15 15:40:16 +0000 Harvest by ksrhoads published on 2013/02/09 21:55:15 +0000 The River Of Suffering by ksrhoads published on 2012/10/19 21:02:00 +0000 This Is Where I Come From by ksrhoads published on 2012/10/19 21:02:00 +0000
