In September 2016 Krystyna Durys released her first album TRIBUTE TO LADIES OF JAZZ inviting polish jazz stars as special guests to take part in the recordings: Włodzimierz Nahorny, Przemek Dyakowski, Robert Majewski, Wojciech Staroniewicz. The album is a statement of intent to doing what she does best. The repertoire is unashamedly 'old school' but there is nothing 'old' about the treatment of the songs. They capture the fresh, positive and feel-good energy. More than 20 musicians were involved in the making of this album. The album collected marvelous reviews gaining great sympathy of listeners and asteem of the hosts of jazz broadcasts across Poland. It was nominated as one of the 5 best albums in the category of THE POLISH JAZZ ALBUM OF THE YEAR 2016 in JAZZ PRESS servey and nominated in the category THE ALBUM OF THE YEAR 2016 in JAZZ TOP servey. The song Them There Eyes from the album got among TOP 10 most popular songs of the year 2016 in TOP JAZZ summery chart in Polish PiK Radiostation (North Poland) and the song Almost Like Being In Love reached 2nd place in the same chart in May 2017.

Krystyna Durys - polish jazz singer fascinated with swing era. Winner of the FIRST PRIZE at the 44th International Old Jazz Meeting Festival (PL) (2014). Winner of the 2nd place in the category of NEW HOPE and nominated in the category of THE BEST FEMALE VOCALIST in JAZZ TOP survey (2017). Nominated to the Grand Prix of The Jazz Lovers Association in the category of THE HOPE OF JAZZ LOVERS 2017). Cooperated among others with Ron King Big Band (USA), Jan Konop Big Band (PL), Take It Easy (PL) and Riverboat Ramblers Swing Orchestra (PL/ UA). She is performing with her own band since 2012, presently in a septet. Among others the band performed at the world's biggest festival JAVA JAZZ (ID), OSTERSO JAZZ (DK) and LADIES' JAZZ (PL).
