James Murray’s latest solo album presents a brace of carefully constructed long-form sound collages; twin formations gradually unfolding in continuous, ever-evolving streams of carefully controlled chaos. In Your Head seeks to absorb life’s mental turbulence full face, while its anticyclonic sister In Your Heart calls for a spirit agile and trustful enough to take to the wing amidst winds of change. This is calm music for chaotic times.

Embrace Storms is the first multi-format split release between Slowcraft and KrysaliSound, two collaborative independent labels based in London and Milan dedicated to presenting beautiful limited editions of minimal, understated and unclassifiable musical works.

Physical Editions:

KrysaliSound continues its signature 12” series with a limited 180g black vinyl edition with full colour sleeve designed by label curator Francis M. Gri. Slowcraft offers Embrace Storms in a limited edition hand-numbered heavyweight CD package designed by James Murray with artwork by Francis M. Gri.
Digital is offered by both labels and automatically included with every hard copy purchase via Bandcamp.
The album is also available from 9th November across all major platforms.
