Kristina Oberzan Kristina Oberzan Ljubljana Kristina Oberžan is a renowned and accomplished singer, songwriter and performer with significant experience, skills and a stunning breadth & depth of musical knowledge. Her enviable repertoire crosses many genres, drawing from a range of influences such as Diana Krall, KD Lang, Norah Jones, Sarah Vaughan, Aretha Franklin, Etta James, etc. Her breathtaking vocal and visual impact is derived from years of performing at the highest levels internationally, often devising her own live shows for national television, radio and also her own concerts in prestigious concert halls and venues across Europe and beyond. Born in Slovenia, Kristina studied for her Master's Degree in Jazz Singing in Austria and and has won numerous international singing awards (e.g. Best Singer at Slovenska Popevka, Finalist at Brussels Jazz Festival) and scholarships (e.g. the Berklee School of Music, Boston) during her career. Kristina frequently collaborates with groups, national orchestras and Big Bands, as well as with international musicians, and has performed with acclaimed artists such as Bobby McFerrin. Her debut album, "Kakor Lep Roman" ("Like A Beautiful Novel") was released by ZKP RTV in 2007 to critical acclaim and her shows are regularly repeated on national television and radio. Still highly sought-after and very popular in her home country, and almost 5,000 fans on her Facebook page from all over the world, Kristina has now moved permanently to the UK to write and record. She is now looking to release her latest new and original material.
