Konstantine Pope Konstantine Pope London Konstantine Pope is an award-winning, London-based screen composer, orchestrator and electronic music producer. Born in Athens, Greece, in 1986, his involvement with music started at the age of thirteen. While receiving formal training in drums, piano and music theory, he had the chance to contribute, as a performer and songwriter, in a number of critically acclaimed studio albums as well as perform in numerous concerts and festivals throughout Greece, U.K. and France. In 2011 he was awarded a first class honours degree in Music from Goldsmiths College, University of London, specialising in orchestration, electroacoustic music and 20th century composition. In September 2011, he was offered a place at the prestigious Royal College of Music, undertaking a postgraduate degree in Composition for Screen under Howard Davidson and Francis Shaw. His diverse musical background and education have allowed Konstantine to regularly transcend the boundaries between electronic and orchestral composition as well as between media and commercial releases, having the chance to work successfully on a number of different projects ranging from scoring various short films, to releasing electronic dance music under the Standard&Push banner, to producing orchestral and electronic music for a number of different artists. Konstantine has been nominated as a finalist for the 9th European Talent Awards Competition. He currently works as an in-house composer for the renowned London production house Delicious Digital.
