Kenny Fisher "KENNY99" is a decorated student of the arts and receiver of the Paul Roebson award. At 13, Kenny started scratching records on belt-drive turntables, and recording MC's by using two boom-boxes, simultaniously(one had to have a microphone built in). In 1998, he became Drum Major of his high school Marching Band until graduation in 1999. During this same time period, he was accepted as a musician for the Baltimore Ravens Marching Band(Trumpet/Snare Drum) until 2001. After college in 2003, he moved to Baltimore City. While reading Baltimore CITY PAPER, he answered a "Drummer Wanted" ad. This chance encounter eventually led to the formation of a band known as 'The Payola Reserve.' Within 6 years, Kenny and TPR toured America, Canada and recorded 2 full length albums(which are still in circulation). After the band split in 2009, Kenny, a few remaining members and musical colleagues started the DIY co-op known as "The Granfallon." One of Baltimore's first DIY spaces, located in Fells Point. It would also be the year Kenny lost his mother to Cancer. After such a devesatating death, he went to Sheffield Institue for Recording Arts, studied Audio Engineering and aftwerward, found his calling to become "KENNY99."
Since 2013, KENNY99 has shown continuous improvement as a music producer, DJ and performer: most notably with, UK Garage/Grime/Bass music collective "UKGSOCIAL" of Baltimore Maryland. As of 2016, KENNY99 has officially released tracks through: Seclusiasis(PA), Funktrap Records(MD/DC/TX) and Certified(UK). KENNY99 mixes can now be heard monthly, via the Brooklyn based online radio station "Transit.FM."
