A review, of sorts: :)

Mate this is really really good .The whole slab is great not just as a "late night" listen, but packs a serious punch in the cold light of day.

In particular the passage from a bit before 13 minutes to around 18 minutes is a fully realised trippy piece that could easily translate to a rave floor smash. I find in it a very satisfying musicality, a sinuous & muscular fundament & a super trippy vibe with those disembodied vocal samples & airy architecture. Makes me want to take some fuckin drugs !.It also has a good bit of animal in it too with some tasteful distortion,great drum pattern and a very "pretty" recurring motif : all in all a dreamy piece with a beginning, development & a satisfying ending. Great sounds too, I would love to know more about the sounds,recording & composition process & where this artist has come from .

I am referencing my mental library of work from the likes of the Orb,Boards of Canada,Aphex,Future Sounds of London,Loop Guru ,Mogwai ,& others ..He has a very wide arsenal of sounds and some unique samples : while listening I am constantly having some type of aural familiarity evoked : in that aforementioned 5 minute passage there is even the ghost of Psychedelic Furs (Love my way ?). One way of describing the cumulative effect would be to call it "haunted“ not an original concept of mine but you know infused with unknowable references sounds & cues that seem to be more than the sum of their parts and tweak the mind ..

Nice recording too! Quite spacious & can take a pounding easily ...
