Disquiet Junto Project 0308: Giving Thanks

I've been sitting on this track for a bit, this weeks project gave me the impetus to finish it off. This is a big thanks to my friend Nina, my crazy Russian FB friend, for the bonkers conversations and hilarious language barrier misunderstandings, and as the inspiration for several tracks and Junto projects.

This track is a basic lounge/chill out/elctronica type thing. I overlaid snippets from a WhatsApp audio messages conversation I had with her last year where she talked about her recent travels.

The cover image is a montage of a Soviet era flag and the first known colour photograph taken in Russia (at least according to the source I got it from :D)

Write a short piece of music for a person or thing you’re thankful for.

Step 1: Think of someone (a friend, family member, etc.) you’re thankful for, or perhaps a thing (an instrument, an institution, a local business, etc.).

Step 2: Write a short piece of music dedicated to the subject you focused on in Step 1.
