[kju:bi]

[kju:bi] is a project based in the cities of Halle and Leipzig / Germany. The collectives activities are going back to the year 2000 when they were starting to broadcast a radioshow on Radio Corax which has always been and still is an important voice for electronic music in the middle of Germany. Their own demands for quality of sound and a variety of selection can be found in the outcome of their collective studio work. „Prospects“, the debut of [kju:bi] which saw the light of the day in June 2014 on Break The Surface presents 4 eclectic compositions reflecting the independent style between minimal beats, deeper atmospheres, grumling basslines and slight oldschool-vibes. Followed by their next release Cross Culture which is going to drop by the end of this year they establish a formular which is more strictly a mixture of rhythm and bass driven elements. So once more the guys prove a variety of functional and musical ideas that is scarce goods in the field of bassfocused elctronic music nowadays.
