Since his debut, KINGMCK's style and craftsmanship of fusing all genre's of music from house, techno to hiphop, has earned him supporters both at home and abroad. A co-founder of the DJ/artist collective DEADEND and a resident at the renowned music hub CAKESHOP, KINGMCK is recognized for his groundbreaking sets that represent the underground sound of Seoul.
As a live performer, KINGMCK reached new heights in 2013 when he performed as a one-man-band controlling all audio and visuals throughout his set. It solidified his name and led to the support from renowned artists and labels such as Boys Noize, Brodinski, 12th Planet, DJ EZ, Oneman, Snake, Mad Decent, Fool's Gold, and more.
Since 2014, KINGMCK has been performing throughout the world in cities like New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Berlin, Amsterdam, Tokyo, Osaka, and Bangkok. An unprecedented feat for a Korean DJ.
KINGMCK is also embraced by the fashion world. In 2014, he released a collaborative capsule collection with Virgil Abloh, Kanye's creative director and maestro of the fashion brand Off White. And in 2015, he became a representative of the Adidas Superstar 40th Anniversary campaign.
Most recently, KINGMCK participated in MNET's DJ tournament "The Headliner" competing against 10 of Asia'a best DJs. In the finals, KINGMCK scored nearly double the points against his opponents, winning the championship and affirming his title as King.
With an upcoming tour and album release in summer 2016, KINGMCK's reign will only continue.
