Kill-Tech Kill-Tech Horten The roots of Kill-Tech was planted back in 2006, by Butch and Dreggur. They started out as a punk band called Blue Monday and soon became a well known band troughout the eastside of Norway. Beside their hometown Horten in Vestfold they have laid the Capitol Oslo and other big cities like Trondheim, Bergen, Tonsberg beneath their feet. The bandmembers of Blue Monday had always been influenced by big metal bands like Pantera, Testament, Machine Head and Lamb of God. This was starting to shine through among the bandmembers and the music became much stronger and more powerful than ever before. They even achieved great success at the Global battle of bands competition, they came in 2ndplace and was nominated as the best metal band in Norway. The only thing that didn’t fit in anymore was the bandname and the members decided to change it to Kill-Tech wich everyone liked it immediately. Seven new songs, new bandname and new spirit had arrived and they decided to record their first album at Toproom Studio with Borge Finstad producing it. Borge had recorded bands like Mayhem, Borknagar, Enslaved, Turboneger and many more, so this was absolutely the right place to do it. It took the band eight days 24/7 and the result was astonishing by all means. Now Kill-Tech is heading out on the road again to promote their album and it will not go down unnoticeably.
