I listened carefully with closed eyes and played the images through my mind to the point of being there, watching with little sympathy for the preacher, a sense of completeness for the old woman and a wish that the bear had not had his mission interrupted by the uncaring preacher. Good riddance to his car. Thanks for sharing it. 2011-12-03T14:52:53Z Comment by COUSINSOREN Dogs bay, evil around us. The Baptist preacher, Old woman Jones dying, potions and herbs, The Devil tickling her feet, dead car, dead preacher, some gone to feed the fish.........Wow. A fascinating, dark narrative poem to induce the audience to ask for more. 2011-12-03T02:43:16Z Comment by COUSINSOREN kUDOS , ken! Aye! Aye! Ha-ha! Great reading.
