Keep Camping Aarhus “We travel to the future in despairing thoughtfulness and return back again to the very beginning where the backbeat was first conceived and pummeled into submission by a dusty electrified guitar. After an inspirational tour to the 70’s, where the synthesizer caught up and became a fixture within every band who wanted to survive the decade to come, we settle on the american prairie, where the big questions about life, death and love are abundant. With respect for the past and eyes set on the future, a band slowly takes shape...” Keep Camping is a story about postmodern songs from a restless mind in constant search of a justification and purpose that may or may not exist. Keep Camping is folk clubbing with captivating, and moody soundscapes traversing the edge between pop and darkly veiled, David Lynchian eeriness. Keep Camping is also a tense, intriguing, and intelligent live experience. Since the band’s inception in 2012, Keep Camping has played numerous shows including SPOT Festival (DK, Aarhus) and UHØRT Festival (DK, Copenhagen), and now they are ready with their debut – a mini album titled 'Transport' comprising eight songs recorded with producer Dennis Ahlgren (Tina Dico, Vincent van Go Go etc.). The album is released on December 9th 2013. Singer Mikkel Møl’s many-faceted, catchy and emotive songwriting on ‘Transport’ is accompanied by his own and Max Kirkeby’s attentive guitar interplay, torn and stabbed by razor sharp synthesizers and underpinned by a well-rounded rhythmic foundation. The end result is intense drama, brutally honest declarations and last, but not least an album carrying its ambitions on its sleeve.
