Local Exhibition Showcases Sacred Chumash Art by KCSB News

Lovers of the arts that promote cross-cultural dialogue are looking forward to an exhibition that is currently on view at the Santa Barbara Historical Museum. The idea behind the art exhibit is to provide deeper understanding into the relationship between art and religion in both Chumash and Spanish traditions in the early Mission period. KCSB's Alex Casavant spoke with Diva Zumaya and Maggie Bell, both PhD candidates in the History of Art and Architecture Department at UCSB and Adjunct Assistant Curators at UCSB’s Art, Design, & Architecture Museum.
