Hunters & Gatherers Karen Chesne Los Angeles Bennett Chesne writes the music and lyrics for fantastic Hunters & Gatherers. He also produces and engineers everything at his Culver City studio. Bennett was born in Chicago but moved to California at age 5. He started playing music when he was 8 years old. He was in his first band in Junior High School and has continued to write, play, and produce music. Incredible, beautiful, unique music. Currently, the music director for L.A. based, The Art Collaboratory, his compositions have been used cinematically in Doug Kruse's NOD, and Arthur Tsu's Another You. Bennett's main instrument is the guitar, though he also plays bass, keyboards, and some percussion. His work on major label releases include; Michael Penn "Free-For-All" and John Stevens "His Boy Elroy". The ethereal woman by Bennett’s side, the wife of 11 ½ years, KC Chesne’s connection to music and love of sound has brought her to understanding a new way to connect with the soul through musical healing. Studied under Julie Anne Cohn to become a Reiki master, as well as learning from the best in vocal heal, Wayne Perry and Silvia Nakkach as a part of the Vox Mundi project.
