Kater Kotek ist ein possierliches Tierchen, das es irgendwann mal aus der Wildnis in den Großstadtdschungel Berlin verschlagen hat. Meistens maunzt es auf Bühnen oder vor der Kamera, doch die Leidenschaft zur Musik begleitet den Kater auf all seinen Wegen. Und so kam es, dass er irgendwann anfing elektronische Musik zu produzieren und aufzulegen. In seiner Musik hört man sowohl die frühen Einflüsse aus Psychedelic, Wave und Gitarrenmusik, als auch die vielen Jahre des Umherstreifens in der Berliner Techno und Downtempo Szene. So ergibt sich seine ganz eigene Mischung aus Sound-Verliebtheit, Deepness und Extase. Eine wundersame Reise durch Fantasielandschaften mit seltsamen Science Fiction Gestalten, begleitet von einem wohligen Schnurren.

Kater Kotek is a cute animal, which once came from the wilderness into the big Berlin jungle. Usually he mewls on stages or in front of a camera, but his everlasting passion for music is the guide on all of his paths. And so it happened that he started producing electronic music and DJ. In his music you will find early influences of Psychedelic, Wave and guitar music, as well as the long years of striving around in Berlins Techno and Downtempo scene. That's how he creates his unique mix of love for sound, deepness and ecstasis. A colorful journey through fantastic landscapes with strange science fiction figures, accompanied by cozy purring.
