Royally Blue by karlchristoph published on 2012/07/19 10:20:16 +0000 Well I left my hope in a wintery grave. Set out for the city in search of new faith, but I lost all that I had right down to my name. Fell asleep on the roadside, like roadkill for the rain. Now the beacons are lit in red ruby hurt and these girls that I care for are all hurt as hell. I'm struck for cash I'm stuck in my mind, but the videos broken, I can't hit rewind. Now I drink with my sorrow in every bar and they all know my face around all these parts. I've learned not to trust and I've learned how to lie. To spin it and turn it, till it all comes out right. So I'm sick in the stomach and the night is in bloom. I'm tied to these choices, I'm royally blue. In a button up shirt I head out with my shoes. I'll see you in the morning, we can sleep until noon.
