After adding new instruments to their line-up, including vibraphone, synthesizers and baritone guitar, the Amsterdam-based trio felt they needed to leave conventional song structures behind. Kapok started to delve deeply into free improvisation, getting more and more fascinated by sound worlds, shifting textures, and electronics. With the help of producer Ruben Samama (Gabriel Rios) they created MIRABEL in the space of a week at DAFT Studios in Belgium. Genre Indie
