The Void by Justin Young 3 published on 2020-10-30T17:26:49Z An instrumental piece inspired by the sounds of Spitfire LABS samples. One of my first attempts at instrumental composition and arrangement. The challenge I gave myself was to create a piece using only Spitfire LABS (free), all free plugins for mastering, and Cakewalk by Bandlab as my DAW (also free). The working title was "Mystery Piano" since I couldn't think of a name for it. My wife, Ashley, loved the piece so much she started describing what it sounded like to her. One of the things she said was "it's like being lost in, or exploring... a dark void." Once she said that, I knew what the title was. "The Void" It will be available on most streaming services soon.
