Icy Start [disquiet0314] "Please record the sound of an ice cube rattling in a glass, and make something of it." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Track inspired by ❄️❄️❄️ Wiley's Eskibeat, Dat Oven – Icy Lake, and Mssingno (more generally). Wrote it mostly on bus to/in Galway so ice-in-glass samples are taken from freesounds.org rather than recorded myself. Also used some other icy samples such as ice machines and people walking on ice. Most of beat is done with these samples, only thing added is the kick and snare/clap (and some occasional eski samples). Bass synth made with Ableton operator, the rest are Massive.
