Shadow over Dormin Hill by Juno Morse published on 2012-09-10T20:01:19Z In the style of the classic and the modern horror film soundtrack Juno Morse created for his second album a ‘homage’ to all the wonderful compositions of this very genre that has been fascinating him for many years. The project started 2008 with the main theme in 'The Ride to Dormin Hill' and so became the main tone for all the following songs. It’s a story following H.P. Lovecraft’s pieces. After a wild carriage-ride through a dark forest the listener reaches the sleepy village ‘Dormin Hill’, which seems to be completely extinct. Over the cemetery and through the secret aisle in an old chapel the listener finally arrives in the abandoned laboratory of Liebwerk, who evoked a mighty demon. This demon seized Liebwerks daughter Leanore who now brings fear and horror over Dormin Hill. The only way to free Leanore's soul and to subdue this demon is to destroy the book Necronomicon. When this book is annihilated the demon returns back to hell and peace is restored in Dormin Hill. Enjoy!
